Monday thoughts and a cup of ☕

It’s a slow morning and, as I’m waiting for the effects of coffee to kick in, I look at the clear blue sky and think about how beautiful life is, yet we let ourselves get overwhelmed by all that is happening in our daily lives and all around the world. I can’t stop and ask myself what’s the meaning and purpose of it? Why can’t we make things easier and enjoy the beauty of being alive?

We are the architects of the world, yet, instead of creating something beautiful and simple, we overcomplicate everything and we create more pain and suffering. War, illness, inhumane experiments, inflation, depression, racism. We’re on this earth for thousands of years and we’ve learned nothing. We’re continuously making the same mistakes over and over again.

I’m tired of these thoughts and the reality around me, and as much as I’m trying to keep myself away from it, I always come back to this. It’s inevitable. We are so caught up in this, that we don’t even have time to figure out who we are.

Good thing there is coffee. So, take one cup at a time, and try to enjoy this wonderful week as best as you can!

Your coffee looks so good in that cup! Only thing to do to deal with all this hoopla.

Thank you. Yes, coffee brings happiness and relief from heavy thoughts. I rarely start my mornings without it 🙂

I love to see how much joy just sitting down and sipping coffee brings to other people as well. 🙂

We humans are truly a strange breed. You can’t have all that incredible potential for all the good, without having the same amount of potential for creating all the bad things as well. Somehow, I believe we will over time learn how to balance those two sides… although it might take us a long long time. But you said it so rightly, there is no way out of this and all we can really do is take one cup at a time. And try to enjoy it as much as possible. 🙂
