This night is starless and my thoughts are dark. The light’s fading out from this stranger’s eyes that looks at me through the dusty mirror. A weak voice is rising from the corners of this tired mind. It says that it will all pass, with patience it will all pass.
Let yourself be carried further down the river, but don’t let yourself drown. Drift into the unknown. Keep an eye on the future, one eye on the past, but keep the present closer, wear it in your pocket. Let the anxiety flow because all of these monsters won’t stop until there’s nothing left.
